…And it’s only been 4 days
So according to our new illustrious President, there’s absolutely nothing he can do to slow the spread of the virus over the next few months until all the vaccine is distributed.
Meanwhile my Governor hasn’t appeared in her doomsday weekly press briefing since Biden named her to his cabinet (since before Christmas) — and they stopped posting COVID numbers on our local news a couple of weeks ago.
It’s almost as if they had been making the virus political…
I wonder how Trump supporters felt about being lumped in with a small number of rioters out of tens of thousands of protesters (like real peaceful protesters) at the Capitol. At the only conservative riot after the dozens of massive riots in the past year. (A riot over a tangible beef with litigators and Congress, versus a political side show based on baseless claims of racism.) How about the President being impeached yet again for ridiculousness? (Because he enigmatically over-dramatized unprecedented irregularities in an unprecedented nationwide mail-in vote – and it got people riled up after four years of abuse and another round of bogus “polls”.)
Wonder how they feel… after Biden extending his olive branch for “unity”, then proceeding to sign 25 executive orders to undo all the good that was done for the country under Trump’s presidency — including removing about 50,000 pipeline workers from their jobs and putting us back in to climate accords that will further decimate our jobs.
I wonder how they’ll feel about that “Unity” thing now that border security work has been rescinded, and our new immigration policy will be rooted in “racial equity”, per the new Press Secretary (in the only answer she actually provided to a reporter’s question that wasn’t scripted).
I wonder how the majority of conservatives feel about that.
I guess I’ll never know, now that we’re OFFICIALLY prohibited from sharing our thoughts.
See you in the re-education camps.
